DISCOVER YOUR INNER MUSIC PRODUCER
Learning how to work within a digital audio workstation (DAW) is an important aspect of today's songwriting landscape. We want you to explore your creativity as much as your students!
This course will guide you through:
- Learning the basic terminology associated with music production
- Exploring how to record vocals, guitars, keyboards and other analog instruments
- Get comfortable working with midi and learning how to create arrangements within a DAW
- Sharing ideas of how to engage your students in different creative projects within a DAW

MODULE #1
Tools, Terms & Application
Learn what a DAW is, as well as basic tools and terms. Plus, a lot of hands on work to explore all the things your DAW can do!
MODULE #2
Basic Recording
Dig into the basics of getting good sounds into your DAW, discover how microphones work, and how to record voice, guitar, and keyboard as well as talk about how to use the keyboard as a midi trigger.
MODULE #3
Working & Creating within a DAW
Discover and explore creative ideas whenworking in a DAW. You can use these projects to improve your production skills and help your students do the same.
